Processing & Lead Times

In-stock items: Processed within 3 business days and released to the carrier promptly.
Backorders: If an item is out of stock, we'll notify you with an estimated restock date (typically up to 6 weeks) and provide updates until it ships.
Custom / Made to Order: Crafted especially for you! Typical lead time 6–12 weeks before shipment.
Holiday & Weather Delays: Carrier or weather disruptions may extend timelines. We'll keep you informed.

Shipping Rates & Free Shipping

We keep shipping simple and transparent.

Free Standard Shipping: Free on all orders within the contiguous U.S. via our standard service.
Promotions: At times we may feature threshold-based offers (e.g., "Free over $2,000"). When active, promotional terms will be clearly displayed at checkout and apply in addition to, or as a limited-time variation of, our standard policy.
Surcharges: Very remote locations or exceptionally heavy/oversized items may require a surcharge. If applicable, you'll see this at checkout before you place your order.

Delivery Methods

Small Parcel: For lighter, boxed items; delivery to your door—no appointment required.
Freight for Furniture & Oversized Items
- Curbside (standard): Delivered to the curb/driveway.
- White-Glove (Optional): In-home placement, light assembly, and removal of packaging—$250 and available in California only (select ZIP codes). Eligibility confirmed at checkout.

Order Fulfillment & Partial Shipments

We typically ship when all items on your order are ready to avoid multiple deliveries. If you prefer a partial shipment, contact us—additional shipping charges may apply.

Scheduling, Signatures & Delivery Attempts (Freight)

Carriers will contact you to schedule a delivery window for freight shipments.
An adult signature may be required.
Missed appointments can result in re-delivery/storage fees billed to the customer.
Buildings with elevator/bookings or access restrictions should be arranged in advance.

Tracking

Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking link by email. For freight orders, the carrier will also reach out to schedule delivery.

Address Changes & Re-Routes

If you need to update your shipping address after your order has been released to the carrier, re-route fees may apply. Please contact us as soon as possible to minimize delays.

Delivery Areas

We currently ship within [your service region—e.g., the contiguous U.S.]. We cannot deliver to P.O. boxes. For Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international addresses, please contact us for a custom quote.

Upon Delivery: Inspection & Damage Claims

Your order is carefully packed, but accidents can happen in transit. To help us make it right quickly:

Inspect before signing (freight): Note any visible damage or missing boxes on the delivery receipt.
Photograph packaging & product: Take clear photos of the box, label, interior packaging, and the item.
Report promptly: Email info@curatedmaison.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number, photos, and a description of the issue.
Resolution: We'll first arrange a repair or replacement for damaged/defective items. If neither is feasible, we'll discuss alternative solutions, which may include a refund.
Claims Window: Damage reported after 7 days or without required documentation may not be eligible for coverage.

Refusals & Missed Deliveries

Visible Damage: If damage is apparent, you may refuse the shipment—please note "damaged—refused" on the carrier's receipt and notify us immediately.
Non-Damage Refusals / Missed Appointments: Return freight, re-delivery, and storage fees may be deducted from any refund per our Returns Policy.

Returns & Exchanges

For change-of-mind returns, please refer to our Returns & Exchanges Policy for eligibility, restocking fees (if any), and return shipping details. Custom and made-to-order items are typically final sale.

Risk of Loss & Title

Title and risk of loss transfer to you upon delivery to the shipping address provided (or upon carrier possession for customer-arranged freight).

We guarantee to the original purchaser that all Curated Maison products are free from defects in materials and craftsmanship. Under this Limited Warranty, Curated Maison will replace the defective manufactured part with a like-for-like or comparable part to help resolve your claim, please provide detailed images and documentation of the issue (see "Upon Delivery: Inspection & Damage Claims" below). Any labor or assembly required for replacement is the responsibility of the customer.

For the best experience, we recommend inspecting all items upon delivery and before assembly to ensure every detail meets your expectations. (see "Upon Delivery: Inspection & Damage Claims" below)

Warranty Coverage

Teak Elements: Covered for 3 years in residential settings and 1 year in commercial settings.
Sling and Metal Parts: Covered for 1 year against structural failure or tearing.

Exclusions & Responsibility

Please refer to our Limited Warranty section for full details on coverage exclusions. Curated Maison is not liable for personal injuries caused by improper use or neglect of our products.

What's Not Covered ("Out-of-Manageable" Conditions & More)

To keep expectations clear, this warranty does not apply to:

Transit issues not reported promptly (see "Shipping/Delivery Damage" below).
Accidents, misuse, neglect, or abnormal use, including standing/jumping on furniture, commercial use beyond the periods stated, or use inconsistent with our Care Guide.
Improper assembly, maintenance, or care, including use of harsh chemicals/cleaners.
Environmental exposure: prolonged or extreme sun, heat sources, standing water, snow/ice, salt air, pool/spa chemicals, or high-humidity conditions causing corrosion, warping, mildew, or discoloration.
Normal wear and tear and natural material variation (expected with teak): color shift/patina (silvering), grain variation, checking/hairline cracks, minor expansion/contraction, knots, or surface markings that do not affect structural integrity.
Stains, scratches, dents, pilling, fading of textiles, or damage from pets, insects, or rodents.
Alterations or unauthorized repairs to third-party parts, or moving/transport performed by others.
Force majeure / Acts of God: fire, flood, earthquake, storm, or other events outside reasonable human control.
Used, floor-sample, final-sale, and custom/made-to-order items except for manufacturing defects noted at delivery.

Exclusive Remedy & Limits

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Your sole and exclusive remedy is repair or replacement (or store credit, at our discretion).
Curated Maison is not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including loss of use, time, inconvenience, or property damage.
Our total liability will not exceed the purchase price of the item at issue.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights that vary by state/country.

Following our Care & Maintenance Guide is required for coverage. If you're unsure about placement or upkeep (especially outdoors, near heat, or around pools/salt air), we're happy to advise.
