Can Curated Maison furniture be used both indoors and outdoors?
Yes — that's the heart of what we make. Every furniture piece is built from Grade-A teak with weather-ready Sunbrella or solution-dyed fabrics, so it's equally at home in a dining room or on an open terrace. Teak is naturally rich in oils that resist moisture and insects, which is why it has been trusted outdoors for generations.

What kind of teak do you use, and is it sustainable?
We use only Grade-A teak — the densest, most durable cut of the wood, prized for its tight grain and natural weather resistance. It's the same hardwood chosen for boat decks and heirloom furniture for its strength and longevity.

Do I need to cover or treat the teak if I keep it outside?
No special treatment is required. Left outdoors, untreated teak weathers to a soft silver-grey over time, a patina many people love. If you prefer the original honey tone, an occasional teak cleaner and sealer will maintain it. Covers are optional, not necessary.

Are the cushions and fabrics weather-resistant?
Yes. Our cushioned pieces use Sunbrella and solution-dyed acrylic fabrics, engineered to resist fading, water, and mildew — the same performance textiles specified for luxury outdoor and marine settings.

How much does shipping cost and how long does it take?
Standard shipping is complimentary on every order within the contiguous U.S. In-stock pieces are dispatched within 3 business days, with delivery expected 4–10 days after dispatch. Made-to-order and custom pieces ship within 12–16 weeks. Remote areas and white-glove delivery are quoted separately.

What is your return policy?
We accept returns of stock items within 30 days of delivery. Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, and original shipping is non-refundable. Custom and made-to-order pieces are final sale. Email info@curatedmaison.com to begin a return.

What warranty do you offer?
Our teak furniture carries a 3-year residential warranty (1 year commercial) against defects in materials and workmanship. Slings and metal components are covered for 1 year.

Where is Curated Maison furniture made?
Every piece is handcrafted by master craftsmen in Vietnam — a country with one of the world's deepest traditions of teak woodworking — using hand-cut joinery and hand-finished surfaces.
